3D WHARENUI We created a 3D cardboard cut out for the Open Wananga. This interactive model promotes the idea of play as a tool for learning and was aimed at children who were completing a Tikanga Marae unit. It was presented to them on an A3 piece of cardboard, with construction instructions. During this process, the participants were learning the different parts of the wharenui. The simple vector illustrations can be easily modified and used for future projects and in student workbooks. Concept by Hiria Anderson.
